Sunshine Rescue - Dog and Cat Adoption
Meet Odin. He is a young community kitty living on Williams Street in San Leandro. We are helping his caregivers with TNR and asked our vet to evaluate his eye. He needs to have the eye removed as it is non-visual and probably is painful. The vet thinks he injured the eye with a foxtail or other sharp object. Due to our current financial situation we are asking for donations to help with the surgery. The estimated cost is between $450-$500. Odin is a very sweet young man, can you help?

Pet of the Month : KYLE
Update: Kyle has received over $500 in donations for his surgery which is tomorrow 1/20/16.  He will be recovering in a foster home for a few days before going up for adoption.  Good luck Kyle.
Kyle was brought to Sunshine Rescue Group after he wandered into a meeting of a Homeowners Association.  He was obviously neglected, with ear mites, fleas and worms.  Worse of all, Kyle had a bad wound on his tail which appears to have been caused by a rubber band being tied tightly around his tail.  The lack of circulation means that Kyle will need part of his tail amputated.  In addition, Kyle is a cryptorchid, only one testicle has descended so he will need surgery to remove the remainging testicle.
We are asking for help with Kyle's medical bills.  Being a small animal rescue, our funds can easily become depleted by large medical bills.  Thank you for any help.
